Taking the Good News of Jesus to children through Operation Christmas Child

Fulton Creek Friends Church serves as a dropoff point for hundreds of shoeboxes from area churches destined for children across the globe.  These shoeboxes are lovingly packed with toys, games, books, crayons, pencils, paper and personal hygiene items like toothbrushes, soap and washclothes.  Also included is literature in the child’s native language about Jesus and the message of Salvation.  In 2023 we learned our shoeboxes would be going to Ethiopia and Sudan.  Your donation will go directly to buying items to fill the shoeboxes and also to cover the cost of shipping.  Over the last 15 years FCEFC has been the collection point for 13000+ shoeboxes from our area churches.

Your donations through Fulton Creek Friends Church will go to provide the above items and to send in the shoeboxes abroad.  It costs $10 for each shoebox to be shipped.

Family Promise: Serving Families in Need

One of the ministries Fulton Creek has supported for years is Family Promise in Delaware.  Family Promise ministers to families who are homeless, giving them a safe shelter for a short period of time.  Four times a year FCEFC staffs the Family Promise house for a week bringing dinner each evening and supplying groceries and other necessities for the week.  Part of what we do is sit and listen to the residents and let them know that we care.  We may not have answeres or even suggestions but It’s important just to listen.  Other weeks are staffed by other churches, but all are focused on the same thing: getting people back into their own homes and back on their feet.  Your donation will go straight to the Family Promise house to help them buy needed supplies to keep the house stocked with food, in good repair and running smoothly.
