In Genesis 8:22
God Says, "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease."  Here we are at the changing of the seasons.  The warmth of summer is fading, and the brisk cool temperatures of the fall are upon us.  The seasons come and go so quickly and without fail.  Isn't life the same way?

King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
"To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance: A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose, A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak, A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace."

Like the weather, our lives are also seasonal.  By God's wisdom, sovereignty and providential care we go through seasons in life that bring transition and change our way.  Perhaps you are in such a time or  can see one coming.  As each of the natural seasons bring with them the beauty of God's creative wisdom and power, so too do the seasons of change and transition God brings our way.  In this special time of the year as the seasons change, take some time to draw close to God and think about the season of life He has you in, and what transition and change He is calling you to embrace. He is always perfect in all His ways, and always doing what is right and best for you.  So do not fear the changing of seasons, celebrate them and look forward to all that God has in store for you.
