"To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:"  (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV)

It is hard to believe but the season for summer is coming to an end.  This month we will enter the season of fall and in just seventeen weeks we will enter into a new calendar year.  This year seems to be flying by.

Life too is filled with seasons that come and go so quickly.  Many families are now adjusting to a new season of life.  New families have formed over the summer season with marriages.  Some have grown with the birth of a child.  Some are changing as young children transition into pre-school, kindergarten or advance from one grade to the next. Students that graduate high school at the beginning of this summer season are now starting college and beginning a new life outside of the home.  Some have lost a family member of the summer and are adjusting to a new season of life without them.

God has a good reason for giving us seasons in life.  Seasons in life teach us that nothing in this world stays the same.  Everyone and eveything is divinely designed to change.  Change is a normal and necessary part of life that we must accept, learn from and adapt to. Apart from God some changes can be difficult to accept and navigate through, but with God nothing is impossible.  With God's help we can accept change, learn from it and in adjusting to it, make the most of it.

As one season is coming to an end and a new one is beginning may I encourage you to take a step in faith and enter it with God.  Commit to waling daily with Him and growing closer to Him each day with every change that is sure to come your way.  He knows how to make the most of every season in life and the changes they bring.  You have His word on it!
