Our Vision and Mission Statement:

Each One, Reach One

Our Vision and Mission is to grow God's eternal family one life at a time through personal evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and service.

Proverbs 29:18 tells us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” Vision and mission are important in keeping us mindful of who we are and what we are here to do. Our vision and mission here at Fulton Creek Friends is simple, ‘Each One Reach One by Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and as a Disciple Make a Disciple of Each One you Reach.’

We fulfill this vision and mission through four simple steps:

Personal Evangelism  Fellowship   Discipleship  Service

Personal Evangelism

Reaching That One

In Mark 16:15 Jesus says,
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
The word ‘gospel’ means good news. Who doesn’t like to hear
good news and who doesn’t like to share good news? Each
Christian has some personal good news to share with everyone.
It is the good news of who Jesus Christ is. It is the good news of
what Jesus Christ has done for them and continues to do in
their life every day. It is the good news that all He has done for
us He desires to do for all. The personal testimony of every

Christian is powerful because it is true and because it connects
on a personal level with those who need Jesus Christ in their
life. We believe in equipping you to share your faith in Jesus
Christ and in praying with you as you reach out to others.

Personal Discipleship

Iron Sharpening Iron

In Matthew 28:18-20 the Lord Jesus Christ says to His
disciples,
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on
earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things
that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you
always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”

The disciple is a student. As Christians all of us have
much to learn and much to become for the Lord Jesus
Christ. Each of us have unique God given gifts, talents,
interests, experiences and resources that can be used to
equip and enable one another to fulfill our mission as the
Christian Church. To ‘make disciples’ requires a lifelong
commitment to worshiping together, praying together,
learning together, growing together and serving together.

Service

Faith Has Works

The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 12:4-6

“For as we have many members in one body, but all the
members do not have the same
function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and
individually members of one another. Having then gifts

differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us
use them…”

All of us as Christians have been given a ‘gift’ from God
that enables us to serve God by serving with one another
in the various works of Christian ministry. By God’s design
all of us have an important part to play in the over all
formation and function of the Christian Church. No God
given gift and contribution it makes to the Church family
and its mission work to the world is unimportant. Every gift
matters and every act of faithful service matters. We are
not a body of superiors; we are a body of faithful servants.
